4to (26.5 x 17.6 cm). Title printed in gold, text printed within ornate red borders; neat repairs in the gutter. Original red cloth, gold lettering to upper cover within a black and gilt frame, white moire endpapers, all edges gilt; neatly rebacked. Provenance: Alexander III ? (label and binding); Paul M.Fekula (this copy 5696 in his catalogue).
Fine copy, beautifully bound, of this uncommon poem upon Alexander III's coronation. Possibly Alexander III's own copy, then in the Fekula collection. The title is printed in gold. Rare: we could trace only 2 copies outside Russia (Berlin and Stockholm, this one without the title printed in gold); apparently none in the USA.
